My trip to aflecks palace

I had heard about aflecks palace for a while and was really eager to go! Finaly over the weekend i managed to get the train to manchester to check it out!
It best live up to my expectations i thourght to myself as i walked up to the door! And indeed it did. I never expected it to be so big and have such a variety things. There was somthing for everyone weather you liked vintage clothers, had an emo/punky stile, love girly modern chlothers, boutique fashion, outrages piercings, jewelry, fancy dress, home decorations, tatoos or just simply wanted to pop in for a hair cut or coffee break!

I found a love for the jewelry, boutiques and vintage clothers and brought my self a realy unique braclet, a head scarf made from the most beautiful material and some cute vintage levi jeans from 1990!!

Our first task in fashion

For our first task we each got given a century from 1900-2010 that we had to research events that happened during those 10 years and how they linked to fashion changes!

The century i got given was 1910-1920! I found out lots of interesting research during those years for instance WW1, titanic sinking, gibson girl, the begining of flappers and many more! The Gibson girl and flapper style realy inspired me as there such differences but yet both so unique and beautiful in there own way.

My first wee at london road fashion collage!

I missed the first week of collage due to a holiday so my first week started on monday! iv had to do a little bit of catching up on the first task in pattern cutting but iv have now got it all done.
I really enjoyed my first week of collage and have met lots of new people!
